I don't have any pics but here lately I have been helping other by sharing what little I know of making bows.

First there is my sister in-law's fiance with making him one. He is working on a hackberry for now.

Then there is a soldier I met during a class. He even went to MOJAM and built his first bow under DVS' steady eye but he came up to shoot this past Friday and I gave him another save and he cased a ring but a crack may prevent a bow, but it is a bit early to tell.

And tonight some adolescents were passing by as I was scraping a bow and they stopped for a few questions and I made the offer to show them how to make one. One seemed interested but you never know.

Yeah, it feels good to be part of passing on such an age old craft. Then those you taught begin sharing with others and so on. Good stuff. We should all feel a little pride in being part of it.

Semo I did heat bend it with exhaust and yes I killed that deer with it. And I have just been trying to pay that and much more forward.
Semo you need go hit a mojam one year.
