I'm considering a hill style build. probably all wood, but laminated as I've been doing lately. Probably 3 or 4 lams. Hickory, bamboo or white oak backing ... leaning towards the oak because I already have it in 72" lengths and 1/8" thickness.

Leaning towards ipe belly because I have it although thinking osage might be easier to bend up the fades.

Maple or bamboo core(s).

Here's my question: I'm drawing 25", and I'm tempted to go pretty short on this one, say 60". Kinda in between a kids size and an adult size hill. I intend to glue in at least an inch of reflex, I'd like it to rest slightly reflexed or straight but no string follow. I'd like to hit 45-50#@25".

Is this going to be too short/narrow for ipe or osage?
