I just roughed out a replacement for this bow and after dropping 20 thou in the stack it looks like its still going to be 5# over. ??????? By my calculations 20 thou should be as near to 7# as can be  yet it still might come  in heavy as well???
This is why full time bowyers looove a-boo.

Very predictable as is a-wood I suspect, being engineered material!  :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I totally agree Kenny. If there is one thing A boo is good for its being predictable!I usually hit weight but lately have been playing around with different combinations . I also differ a bit from many as my belly lams are not really just a very thin veneer but can be up to .080 thick and I am sure that allows big weight discrepancies betewen dissimilar woods. The second bow looks like I am going to go very close to weight with. Roy Roy Roy don't let your guard down like that!   :bigsmyl:  Thanks Dan
