Bowyers Father's Day

Hey everyone,
Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. I hope you had as great of a day as I have. My family spoiled me with a great gift. I now have my own draw knife! A 10" beauty that I can't wait to get carving a stave with!
I just wanted to share that good news with you all!

Congrats on the drawknife! I got a little time to start shooting in an osage bow I've been working on, but for the most part I'm just hanging out with the wife and kiddos. Still a good day.

Nice!  And nice to have a family that humors Dad's bow making addiction.  I put the first coat of poly on a red elm and cherry bow earlier and my daughter and I are heading out to Starbucks and DQ soon.  Bow making, caffeine, and ice cream...that's my kind of day :-)

Congrats on the drawknife! As takefive said, it's great they understand and support your bowbuilding.

My wife and daughter spoiled me today also. My daughter got me Howard Hills book Hunting the Hard Way and my wife ordered me a bowyers edge from Dean Torges. The bowyers edge didn't make it here yet but it's on the way.
