Tried Mosaics on a new longbow form-Decided to donate to St. Judes

Very cool! I like the mosaic alot!

Is that maple in the riser? Or actionwood. I can't tell. I'm getting old I think. Looks very good either way.

Ben the light wood in the riser is Birch, I had a nice grained piece lying around so I used it with some of my scrap walnut pieces. Used Birdseye maple for the overlays for a good contrast. Gonna add some finished pics tonight.

Ahhh very nice. I thought it might be birch after posting and looking at it more. I really like the color and grain. I may try that soon. I imagine birch is very reasonably priced as well. Thansk for th equick reply.
