Have the form done and parts made for it.

Can do a 50" off it, so made a guess and will pike as needed to get what I want.

Heck, it may be about the right size fer Roy.... 15#

Gonna glue it tomorrow and prob work on it next weekend, then its turkey time for 3 weekends!!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I think dah turkey just posted:) LMAO

I need a test midget Roy, my draw is a bit long fer it...

The new form and rope/hose plan

Profile...

Braced profile...(string is a fuzz short, brace is near 7", thinkin 6 to 6.5" would do)

Money shot...

It is still in need of some tiller work, it is 50" ntn right now, near 30# @ 22" so I came pretty close to what I wanted for a 1st try.

The hose and rope trick would have worked if my belly ramp curves weren't so tight. Next one will have a top form and the normal air hose deal. Got some fat glue lines, but the back of bow looks good.

Just need more pressure at ramps...

many thanks to all who gave pointers on stack!!

That looks pretty nice ole timer..

Nice bow I like it- looks like a big one^^
I havent worked with air hose so far but for steep fadeouts I love my rubber tube strips- It`s not that professional and a bit of work to tighten strong but has it`s advantages anyway...

Buemaker

Looking good, nice lam grinder. Bue--.

Good looking bow Bud.   I need to get started on one for st Jude's.

Kenny: If it won't hurt the bow i would brace it a little on the high side. that way younger kids wouldn't have to deal with to much are slap.

jsweka

That's a nice lookin' little bow Kenny.

I ain't namin' names, but that would be perfect some old timer I know here.

Now that's the way a longbow should look when braced and drawn. Not one of those things that looks like it hinges right out of the riser.

Looks great Kenny, nice work.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

jsweka

Not you Kenny.  The REAL OLD TIMER.
(I wonder where I'm at on the list these days).
