That is a great looking bow Pat!  Your bows always inspire me to try those staves that usually I cull.  Excellent craftsmanship!

Very, very interesting! I have not seen warts on my osage.
Do ya think the limbs were ill and didn't form??

What's up with those little burls?

Nice looking bow, Pat.   I just roughed out an osage with some clusters of pin nots, but they did'nt "wart up" like those.  Cool...

I've seen pin clusters like this before, Mark and Joe, but always pryed them off. This time I decided to work with them.

I thought it was a TOAD that caused warts. Just think, I've avoided toads for all these years!

Nice work Bud.  Great looking bow.

Well here she is all finished up except for a bit more shooting. She pulls 47#@26"(tillered out to 28") and shoots well except for a little hand shock. I think this is because one side of the bow is a little stiffer because of the "warts".
Anyway, here she is. I hope she works well for you Charlie. I'll get full draw pic up later...

So very nice Pat.  I am truly blessed and honored to be getting this bow that you made.  I have admired your work and ability to make a piece of wood come alive for many years now.  And I could not be more pleased.  Thank you so very much my friend.      :notworthy:
