Started(and finished) my first Hickory selfbow

 Hickory lends itself to heat treating the belly. This can help reduce the set a bit.

Thanks guys. It shoots pretty good, it was a tricky one to figure out arrows for some reason. It ended up shooting GT traditional 1535's cut at 29" with a 125 grain point. Flings em pretty fast though.

Definitely not my last hickory... I already got two more staves    and next time I am going to heat treat.
