I have just about finished a BBI and I think i am going to put a small leather rest on it--just a small piece from an old belt--What glue do ya'll suggest using for this??
thanks, Rick

Superglue works, I like to use contact cement for leather work.

I use sticky two-sided tape for the shelves I build up with heavy leather, and for the leather strike plates. 3M makes a really good one. I've also found it in Lowes in the flooring dept. That stuff is super sticky and I've never had it even begin to come loose after years of use in all weather and temperatures.
