I have not seen a post from Dick in quite a while. Anyone seen anything from him or know anything. He has always been one of my favorite contributors on this site and would be sad to think that anything had happened to him. I didn't see anything on his site to give any insite, maybe he is sailing around the world or something.

I was thinking the very same things a few months back. Its been a good while. Hopefully the ol' man is well.

Yep. I get used to folks adding their wit and wisdom and then they go on a hiatus. Been wondering about a few folks myself... Hope all's well. But we all know how living life can twist and turn at times.  :campfire:

I know Dick was having some health issues earlier this year, but I saw him at a shoot in April and he looked as good as I've seen him in a while.  Mind seemed to be as sharp as ever, so I bet hes just been busy.  I too hope all is well

Well I shot an e-mail to Dick and got a response real quick. Seems he is doing great but not much in the way of bow building. He is down to shooting 20# bows, due to his on going health issues. He is shooting recurves now because of the increased performance at the low weightsand he can do better at the 3d shoots he gets to with that.
He is focusing on building model trains at the moment and will be updating his website soon with a follow-along for a build he has done. So it seems he is doing well and just moved on to different pastures for the time being.
