Thanks, I am still working on perfecting the bowyer craft  :biglaugh:  ...I shot the bow a few times over the weekend and also let some friends shoot it..one of my friends thought the grip could be a little thinner and I also thought so too..so I reshaped it today with my spindle sander and will refinish it tomorrow..I think the grip may be perfect for me now. I have about 6 bows that may get reshaped grips soon..

That turned out really well Robert.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Looks great. Reshaping the handle is like making a brand new bow.

Thanks, yes  its the Binghams 58 inch design..i added a little more hook to it and added a 29 inch powerlam between the riser and taper.

STUMP THUMPER

Is that the same design as the one you had at the TBOF? That was a beatiful bow but I think this one is a better looker.
Like the poundage, 45,
Do you ever sell any?

I had 2 different 58inch design recurves at TBOF,  if you saw the one with  curley walnut veneers then you saw one of  my own  design..a prototype.  Building bows is a hobby, I have built a couple of bows and gave to friends as gifts..
