Not sure if I am in the correct place, but here it goes.I am in the process learning to make  endless loop bow strings. All of the bows that I have made this far,not one of the measurements for the string lenght were correct. I would measure 68" to cut in my nocks and endup having to use a string 1/2" shorter or longer. Some were of more than that.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.

I have only made a couple endless strings using fast flight. I peg the strings full length, dont use a jig. I serve one loop then stress the crap out of it, im a big boy and I stretch it to make sure all my loops are even, mark it then serve other loop. so far they have been on the money.

Some one else may have a better way, thats just how i have done it.

When I make an endless loop string I set my Jig (pegs) 3/8-1/2 long and after serving and shoot-in it will be about right. On B50 material I stress the string (125# for two hours) then it is ready for use.
