Very nice bow Citycop. I'll chalk that one up on the long list of bows I've liked in this years swap...

Cuban Missile

I agree I like the look of that rawhide on the yew.

And the here she is with her cloths off  :biglaugh:

Ol'righty,  now we will have to wait for ******* to provide the money shot.....

One of these days when the funds are available, im going to upgrade my 4" grinder, hatched, and hand saw for some nicer tools.  Maybe then I can get a little better on the fine detail work (riser fades prior to layup etc....)

@ red hill,  I guess Im critical of my own work.  Always room for improvement.... That's what makes this fun!!!!

KellyG

Oh that is right I had you marked as shipped already, I am betting dollors to donuts ******** is going to love that bow.

Bone lake

Hey Kevin, Those look great!Haven't been able to get out musky fishing for a while but I can't wait to try them out! Thanks again.

The bow is a bamboo backed bamboo flooring takedown..
51@28.
Seeing all the recurves being made for the swap got me motivated..plus my daughter wanted one too..
It is tillered out to 28, but it also pulls 45@26, which is what she wanted..

The lures should leave the house tomorrow, they needed one more day on the drying rack.

Yesterday when I came home my daugther Caroline told me that a long cardboard boy had been delivered. I unpacked it and a look what came out...

Of course I had to test it immediately. It's not only looking extremely cool, it's also a fine shooter...

...love those green limbs and the tips. I still wonder how Shawn did them, they look awesome.

Thanks a lot Shawn for that wonderful bow.

Later in the evening I put the last coats of finish on mine. I'm going to send it off tomorrow.

I put a few more arrows through it and it seems to be ok.

I hope ******** ********** is going to be happy with it. And sorry again for the delay.

Super nice bows Andy, both of them... I'll bet the extra mass in your riser helps quite a bit to have little to no handshock upon release. Nice design & tiller as well.

kennym

Sweet!! Both bows!  They look sorta alike.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
