OHMAHGOD!!
I thought you was kidding.  Around here we buy it cuz its like three bucks a six pack and makes a hell of an explosion when you shake em up on a hot summer day and sink a field tip through it.  I didnt know people actually CONSUMED it.

How many times do you have to shoot it before you bows will penetrate aluminium cans? Haha

Just once....even my daughters 30 pounder shoots clean through a PBR can and creates a foamy beery mess. Must have cheap alluminum to go with the beer.  No wonder I find them littering the ground around my favorite fishing holes.  I think the guys drinking it are too embarrassed to bring them to the recycling center.

As bad as I hate to, I will not be entering this years swap. I already have 3 bows promised and I am afraid I won't have time for a 4th bow for the swap.

Thanks for thinking of me and I do plan to be a follower of this swap thread. I am  sure I will regret my decision but I do not want to over commit myself and not meet the deadline again this year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!

Mater, welcome back to the swap. I enjoyed making your bow 2 years ago, but hope you get one this year that will work for you shooting style.

We were last summer when we were camping   :)

Come spend some time with brother in law in the gym, hes a personal trainer, and he can even help YOU work up to a 30 pound bow Roy.

I am new to the swap but want to participate. I think it is an opportunity to really build the best bow you can when it goes to someone else. I will build a bamboo backed Osage either straight limbed or slight r/d. I am right handed , shoot 28 inch draw and anything around 50-55 lb is good. Anything is good but would love a self bow as I have not taken that plunge yet as a bowyerand would like to see a good example for inspiration/ instruction. Will pm Kelly with my particulars.

adeeden

I'm in, I watched this thread all year last year! I'm still pretty green on the bow building but have learned alot in the last year and a half or so! I will be building either an osage or hackberry self bow.

I'm a lefty and draw 27" anything between 40-55 pounds works for me!
"I would rather be lucky then good, any day!"

soopernate

I am hoping I get Roy so that I can build him one of our "Montana Special" 40 pounders....the magic is in the arrow (too bad I am such a crappy hunter)

Swissbow

I'm in too. I can't let you guys let have all the fun here. I'll build a glass bow and I'm going to be happy with whatever I get.

I'm a right hand shooter and I draw 60-65@27.
