Hi all well this is my second attempt at a red oak board bow. The first ended up with poor tiller that i didn't notice till i shot it in and read more. This is a red oak board bow 72 in long backed with fiberglass tape and braced at 4 inches that is as high as a brace as i have got yet
Don't go easy on me I want to learn oh and I do have a gizmo not sure I'm using it right though

This is it pulled to 16 inches

and here is 20 inches

If more info is need let me know
thanks John Landis

your fades look stiff too me and the right limbs outer 3rd.  but I am new at this myself I am sure the pros will look in a bit.

Are you using a tillering gizmo?

JGL

I do have a gizmo working with it but wasn't sure i was using it right. So how much bend should i be looking at in the fades

JGL

After several passes with the gizmo and scraper this is where i'm at

I think i'm seeing it too stiff in near the fades and the outer thirds still but a little better what do yall see

razorback

I would say the outer 1/3rds need to bend more, especially the right limb and a little more near the fades, especially the left. I would not pull it any further than you are until you get it evened out. Go slow as this is where I always loose most of my weight when I screw up my board bows.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.
