Linen or ??

I glued up an Osage bow ( wood cut on a saw - grain not followed ) and want to back it with a "see-through" backing. Will linen or silk or ?? show the wood after the glue dries or is there no such thing ( I know they make clear fiberglass ).

That looks good ! I use titebond 111, Is that good.
