Has anyone used sinew to repair Bamboo that has lifted a spinter on the back?  If not any reason not too?  Thanks for your feedback.

Sinew will work fine to repair a splinter. Super glue down the splinter first then wrap it. Once the sinew is completely dry seal it with super glue.

What about just gluing the spinter down and sinewing the whole bow?

I have ground most of the bamboo off bows that popped a splinter and applied a new piece of bamboo. I only leave about 1/16" of the old bamboo.

What about filling it with some beeswax and finishing over it?

If you don't stabilize the crack or splinter with glue and a wrap it will grow and intimately cause a complete bow failure.
