I have just received a pre -loved Blacktail VL, The riser is 9.9 ,just two small dings, but an old leather grip, that looks to be glued on with some clear glue. Would it be possible, to remove the grip without damaging the finish under? Also the limbs have some slight (scuff- scratch-rub) marks on them, very light. What would be the best to re-finnish the limbs with?(I was thinking of a light sand ,with Wet@Dry or steel wool, and a coat or two of Spray OR Wipe on Satin Poly??)Thanks ,all help appreciated.  Dan

Hard to say. If the glue is hard, it will want to grab all it can when you try to peel it off. If its contact or Duco it will come off with some pulling. Plan on a mess to clean up with leftover leather bits and glue. The limbs could be buffed up with OOOO steel wool. You could spray the whole bow again after you clean the grip area and limbs up to your liking.
