Removing Glass on R/C& Long bows

Bow-n-Head

You can very successfully remove the glass with the use of a heat gun & thin blake knife. Start at the base of the limb & go out. Heat the base enough to get the knife started 7 then keep the hear on the area where knife meets glass.  Rock the blade back/forth & twist slightly.. Move slowly & don't overheat. Clean the lams of glue  with a scrapper & re-glue. It works best if you can use a  limb shaped base for support.  Hope this helps re-claim somr "lost causes".

Jerrod;  That's why i posted the info. I saw your situation.  Oh Well.  There probably willbe a "next time".

I have used Bow-n-head's method a few times with great results. Looking at him you would not think there is alot of activity in that head, but he is quite knowledgable.
