I am getting ready to build my wife a bow, I make 3pc takedown longbows. I wanted input on what to use to make her riser. The limbs are going to be the pink camo under clear glass on the back of the bow and white glass on the belly, so lets put our heads together and help me come up with a riser. I may make this a build along so you guy's can come along for the ride.
Thanks

Some white wood with purple-heart reinforcements would look good with that.
Tamarisk has a pink kind of spalting in it that is beautiful but I don't know how strong it is.
Maybe just paint the riser gloss white to match the limb glass and wrap the grip with pink leather and white laces.
We will expect pics when done!

Maybe......some sort of dark such as African blackwood which may compliment the black in the camo pattern??

How about purpleheart with white phenolic accents through it?
Step lightly, and shoot a trad bow.

I made this one for my daughter years ago. It has pink ivory, ebony and a purpleheart flare with white phenolic accents. Tulipwood and ebony also look great together.

Anything curly, can be dyed to color you(she) like.

Get any hints from her?

You might also look at canarywood with bloodwood accents.
