Can this be fixed ?

I found this recurve and have shot it. I`m in the process of a refinish job on it and needed some advice. I tried to take pics on the kitchen floor because the pattern on the floor will aid as a graph so you can see the difference of the limbs. As you can see the limbs have different arch`s. So i`m wondering if this bow can be reshaped so the limbs will match. I have no idea with one the arch`s is the right shape but was hoping to get some advice from one of the bow builders here on how to fix this right. This is an old knuckle shooter and i`d love to restore it and have it to hunt with.

I really don't see much difference. The bottom limb should be a bit stiffer.  Will you post a full draw pic so we can see it under stress.

I hope the pic of full draw is what you wanted, i`m not too swift at the photo thing. I also measured string height. The measurements are the same distance from the tips, then I measured from string to limb. One was 8" and the other was 7-3/8". I also took another pic of the bow from a higher distance so you can see the limbs little better.

Measure the distance from the string to the fades, (that point where the riser ends in the limb) Is it within say 1/4 inch? (of each other)

It looks like the tiller is heavy but from what I can see the drawn profile looks right. How does it shoot? Bear tillered tons of bows at plus 1/2 inch and even more and no one had a problem shooting them. sometimes it is a matter of how high the shelf is above the true center of the bow that determines how the bowyer tillers the bow. I really do like the drawn profile though and I bet that is a smooth pulling bow.

That one is definitely a bit strong on the lower limb, but if you were palming the bow and applying low pressure to the grip it might shoot pretty darn good the way it is..... how does it feel when shooting it? does she rattle your teeth loose?

sometimes looks at brace can really be deceiving.

trying to even out a 3/4" difference in a bow can really bring the weight down.... is this a glass backed bow?

I`m really not sure what it`s backed with. The brace heigth is 7" and it`s 60" tip to tip unstrung.

Well for the first time today I shot this bow with serious intent and i`ll have to say I was impressed with it. I just put a simple Bear stick on rest on it and it shot a lot better than over the knuckle. I have not done any kind of tuning except place the rest 1/8" above center of the serving. I don`t even have arrows for it. I just shot the ones for my other bow which is a 58" reflex-deflex.  I have no idea what weigth it is or anything about it for all that matter. I seems to cast pretty good. I don`t know what kind of string is on it. The best part of it all was I found it in the trash    So now i`m on a mission to work with it and try and find out all I can about it. In fact i`ve changed my mind on trying to fix anything on it `cause i`ll bet a dollar it`ll never shoot as good. I would like to refinish it so maybe i`ll look into that.
