Put 3 clamps on each end of my hose last night. Put 45 lbs. of air in and left over night. This morning it had leaked all the air out. Am thinking about using silicon to seal the hose with the clamps. Anyone used silicone to do this. I was thinking of getting some high temp but have regular on hand, if it will work. Thanks, Don

I made my own plugs out of PVC plugs.  After beveling them to get them to fit.  I put epoxy on them and clamped the crap of them.

Use the high temp stuff- the other won't work.

Before doing anything lets find the leak. Mix a little dishwashing soap with warm water.  Pump up your hose and put a little on the cap.  If the leak is there, a soap bubble will come up.  More clamps & glue won't help in this sitation.

If you didn't find the leak, spread the soapy water over the ends and just keep looking until you find it.  Even the smallest leak will bubble up the soapy water.

I have been using the bingham plugs for years without a problem. tighten the up and put each end in bucket of water. tighten a little at a time until the bubbles stop. Have done hundreds of bows without a problem. I do change clamps everytime I change hoses though.

Thanks guys, I made my own plugs from alum. I found the leak. It was where the air fitting screwed in the plug. Dropped it in a bucket of water and got some good bubbles. Don
