I put an Ace in the Hole Quiver on my Shrew Longbow using velcro. When I went to remove it, I ended up pulling the fiberglass off the riser in a small area. What should I do? Can I replace the fiberglass only in this area or do I need to refinish the whole Bow? Thanks for your help because I am sick over this error. The Shrew is one of my favorite Bows. Thanks for any advice you may have.

Thats not fiberglass, its sealer. Maybe Thunderbird? Not sure what Greg seals them with?

Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better. I 'll find out where to get it and i'll redo the finish.

After you get your bow repaired try a Kanati quiver by Anneewakee Archery. You won't be sorry. Great quivers and excellant folks to deal with.
Always strive to do the right thing. Don't beat yourself down when you mess up. Ask for forgivness and keep on keeping on.

I would contact Greg and let him look at it just to make sure what is going on.

Thanks everyone. Paul thanks for your advice about the Kanati Quiver. I like the idea of having a single arrow in the quiver on my bow. I also use a back quiver but the Ace in the Hole keeps the amount of movement down when still hunting. This is the first time that I have had a problem with the Velcro but its the last time that I will use it again on my bows.

Man I saw the "need advice" topic and and I rushed in here to tell you not to get married but that's not what the advice was for so I hope you get your shrew repaired. I know that "sick" feeling you're talking about. It seems to not go away till the problem is fixed.

And +2 on the kenati.
