Penobscot bow

I just received one as a Christmas present. bubble wrapped and a receipt and little else. I dont know the model if there is one. Its about 5'9" tall. Two i believe there called staves, two small strings (all ready on) and one long string. I have no idea where to begin and there is not much in the way of info on the net. I will post pics when i get home. The two stave's
are not together
Anyone have detail info,or a link? Where to start?

Penobscott bows were developed by the Penobscott Indians from the Northeast. The design is unique to them and is somewhat adjustable as far as draw weight. I've never made one but others here have. Pics will be a big help if nothing more than to see at what stage of completion your new bow is so someone can talk you through the completion of it.
