Sorry, Apex, but I don't think I'm eligible for promotion in any event.  The title was never a "real" rank.  It was the stage name I used in my performing years as "Captain Dick and the Old Salt" and stuck.  I did storytelling (sea stories), ventriloquism, folks singing and stand up.  Still do a show every now and again, though it's getting a lot rarer.  As far as real military goes, I was Army... 7th Cav.
