Absolutely beautiful bow. But, can you explain the need to make the lower limb 1" shorter than the top. PM if you want.      :clapper:

Thanks gentlemen.

Its a quiet bow and it shoots better than I thought it would.  The very first glass bow I made was a straight longbow and I had a hard time getting the shock out of it.  Thin tips and a trapped back really help the cause and I cannot really tell that this bow has much shock at all. I put some coyote silencers on it and a FF string and I think those two items help as well.

The one inch lower bottom limbs allows for some positive tiller built in the bow (rather than making the top limb thinner or sanding the glass to achieve the same amount of positive tiller).  When I was building this bow I took some notes from a friends 66" Howard Hill and basically built it to the same specs...worked well.

DEATHMASTER

It looks like it should be a nice shooter.
Let us know after playing a little.

That looks real nice. Would you mind telling me, did you use three thin strips of bamboo for the core or are my eyes deceiving me? I'm still quite new to trad archery and have my sights set on building a laminated longbow sometime in the future. Thanks

Kris

Rimes,

Yes I used 3 core lams of actionboo and 2 lams of cedar for the veneers.
