ain't got no gas in it...mmmhmmm...

Nope Hova not just yet. This is the longest wait one could imagine. The closest I have ever come was waiting a deer to move into good shooting postition.
Well you know pics are required also.

red hill

Glad to hear you're headed home, Kelly. Be safe, brother.

HOVA....171 pages and NO PICS?  INexcusable.   ;)

Ah come on soopernate, didn't cha see the picture of his purty painted toe nails with the bow? :)  LOL

This friday will be 6 weeks since I have sent my bow to my recipient, and have not received a single comment from him. I even sent him an email 2 weeks ago asking what he thought of the bow, and nothing. I wouldn't even care if he told me he hated it and burned it cause it was, in his opinion, an abomination, so long as I heard SOMETHING.

But nothing?? Not even a freakin thank you? I'm sorry, but I just wasn't raised to do people like that. Oh well. Lesson learned. Next time a bow breaks on me 3 times for the same person, i'm telling them it wasn't meant to be.

soopernate

I stand corrected...those nails were exquisite but i want to see a completed bow....maybe I am just suffering from withdrawals.  I better go build a bow.

Fish it is ok, I am sure if they could stop shooting that bow you sent they would have posted by now. I know I would be out shooting such a bow so much my finger would not work for about 8weeks.

Hova does need to get pics up for us.

I had a delay; so not home just yet but every tic of the clock brings me ever closer.

Osagetree

Fish, I never heard from my receipient in last years swap. I don't let it get me down cause I won't get him again. I can't remember who it was though. Wonder if it is the same guy? I can't remember who it was though.

Your time will come Kelly,,, we are all praying for that!

Yeah I hear ya Osage. It's their own demise IMO.

Kelly, besides loving your family like crazy, what's the NEXT thing you'll do when you get home?

Mike Mecredy

Fish... that's people for you.  I've met very few I can rely on, but fortunately those I can reley on make up for the millions I can't rely on.

i have just been trying to finish the bow that i'm sending , then im probably going to use the swap bow sent to me by ken for this years hunting season.once season is over, i'm going to revisit the osage. my boy turns 3 in april , and i am going to whip him something up in the 36" range , probably hard maple/cherry...or something like that...

You buy me the glass for TWO and I will build you one.  Really not a bad deal if you think about it.
