Wow the more received bows. My internet in my room is down sneaking on at work. I will be down for a few days. Once it is up I will have a lot of updates.

Ranger 3 I am down to just 10 bowyers I have not heard from. I do need to read some of the older PMs I have to make sure I dont have more.

I have was worried about a few but out of now where they have come through. Really only one concern and I not worried the safty net is out if they fall.

It is coming togather. Stiks I will shoot you an email with my updated date now you have your bow after this weekend and my internet is up.

I have an Ideal for next year I think you may really like.

When I checked my mail yesterday there was a slip from the mailman. It said..."tube too long for my jeep!" After work today I went to the PO to see what they had for me. The clerk came out of the back with a long white PVC pipe with duct tape on both ends.[they love me at that post office! d;^) ] When I got home I opened the tube to find a very nice red oak pyramid style ALB (75" long, 50#@26")from Mo Oyervides. Thanks Mo. I have a place of honor in my bow collection for this special TG Trade BOW!
I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet or take pics but I will soon.

Ruddy, Kerry and Keenan had their booths next to each other at the Classic last spring and I got to see, hold and pull your trade bow. I think Kerry has built a bow or tweo before. I can already see some down east NC deer blood on it.
Kris, You lucky dog!  That has to be the cleanest osage stave I've ever seen and apparently it made a very nice bow.

in case anybody every flubbs up like i did- this is was birchwood caseys prompt response

Jeff,

I am sorry to hear of your mishap.

You can try to thin out the Tru-oil with paint thinner (mineral spirts)

Make sure that you ventilate the area (room) well.

After thinning it out with the mineral spirits, you can give the area a good spray with the Birchwood Casey gun scrubber.

Our Gun Scrubber is a great degreaser.

Our synthetic safe Gun scrubber formula is safe for carpets. Once again, be careful of the fumes, and make sure the area (room) is well ventilated.

The gun scrubber is highly flammable, so you will not want to place a heater on the spot to dry it.

I hope that helps.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact me.

Good Luck!

Best regards,

Semo - nice lookin' bow.  Is it headed to PA?    ;)
Imagine my surprise we I got home today and found a tube from Chris Banks at my house.  It did head to PA.  Unfortuantely, I'm in the middle of a bad case of the flu so I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would like to, but I did put a few through her tonight.  Here's a full draw pic.

The bamboo and snake skin's are awesome and Chris was right - this thing is amazingly fast.  I was shocked at how it sent a 550 grain douglas fir shaft down range.

Thank you Chris.  This bow is a thing of beauty and I am very pleased to have been lucky enough to be your recipient.

Sticks, add me to your list. I had the tiller starting to look good on my bow, was bending real nice and when I was checking it over on the tree, tick. Looked it over and there was a crack right in the center of the upper limb. Luckily I have another bow in the works for backup so have to pull it ot and get to work.

I hope it serves you well John, glad you like it and I think you look better shooting it than I do.
I was kinda surprised at how much zip that bow had also, if you have any questions or problems please email me or shoot me a PM.

Will do Chris. I don't foresee any problems.

I really was amazed at how fast this bow is.  I put the bow on the scale and got 48# at my draw, but it shoots an arrow that I normally use in my 54# longbow noticable faster.

I just wish I wasn't so dang sick today so I could play outside with my new toy.

I was trying to hit 50# so I guess I wasn't too far off. My bow scale is a piece of crap and only goes to 50# but it isn't very accurate so it's more like an educated guess when using it. I need to break down and buy a good scale but money just doesn't permit at the moment and I don't want to buy another cheap one.

Well I am beginning to think that bow making is like scoring a goal in soccer it all about attempts. The more attempts the better the odds of one slipping through and being a score.

Well so 3 more bows received. I will up date that data as soon as I get to my room.

Looking good

Sorry I had to drop off the planted for awhile. Life got busy. I have been working on this bow off and on for a few months in between my failed attempts with some juniper logs. Well I am way behind on my bow I thought I would have been futher by now. I should be able to finish up it this weekend and ship out by monday. I have had it shooting for a couple of weeks but I have been slow on the finish work. Here is a few pics of ******** bow.
