Well I can't sit in the bowshop and watch DVShunter work on a swap bow. So I'm in too.
45-55 @ 27 RH
Be making a wood bow. I have no preference on what I receive. Can't wait!

This is gonna be alot of fun, nice to see some many people envovled.

razorback

I'm in again and I will try to get mine out before the deadline this time.
50-60# @ 29" RH. Any bow will be appreciated and given a nice home.

For anyone worried about their own ability, don't. This build has bowyers of all levels and styles of bows. I got a board bow last year but could as easily have gotten a glass bow or PatB's osage bow. Thats part of the fun. I am a novice but managed to produce a nice boardbow that shot very well, should have called it "blind squirrel"  :)  Have fun and and enjoy what ever you can produce and recieve.

thanks Kris for the work involved.

That's exactly what it's about razorback plus there will be a seperate thread posted after sign up that guys can post pics and questions as we all go along. Not oanly a chance to get a bow from some of the finest bowyers around but a chance to share and learn from each other.

This is kinda like a cyber mojam or something only when we are done with our bow we pass it along to someone in the swap.

It's a blast for sure, Stiks

Definitely want in, I'm starting to feel confident enough that in 6 months of effort I can turn out at least one bow that someone would like to receive.

I'll be making a wood bow.

Looking to receive a RH, 50-60# @ 29".  Any type works, but single piece of osage would be cool, as would one of them thar fancy glass bows y'all make look so effortless.

I'm giddy just thinking about it.  Thanks for organizing.

Kris, I'm in. Thanks for the encouragement and opportunity. I'll be making a wood bow of the longbow variety.

I shoot LH 45-50# @ 26". Would love a bow short enough to use from a climbing stand but I'll take anything.

This is exciting.  Been looking forward to this more than I was anticipating Christmas!

Stan

hova

what do you consider short enough? 33" ntn? obviously im a ground pounder...

No-sage

Found a nice couple of pieces of wood to get working on.  I guess if I get 2 or 3 bows started, I should be able to finish well ahead of the deadline.

I also have 2 BBO's that are missing a limb somehow.   :dunno:    I've been meaning to make them into one new bow.  I've got a short selfbow that needs final tillering, and I've got a sleeved takedown blank from a friend that needs to be completed.

This is good timing...... shop season is in full tilt.  Of course I'll have to make some time for small game hunting.

scrub-buster

I want in.  I will be making a selfbow.  I would like any type of bow that flings arrows.  But if given the chance, I would like a glass bow since I have only shot selfbows so far.  50-60# @ 26" works for me.  Right handed.

Thanks

Im in, I'll be building a d/r glass bow.

Iv been wantin an osage selfbow for awhile and have yet to attempt one myself so im good with wood but im not picky I'll be happy with whatever shows up at my door, glass or wood.

Im RH 50-60# @ 30".

Walt Francis

Put me in.  I will make whatever is needed, Osage selfbow, 64" R/D glass longbow, or 60" glass 50's style recurve.

I shoot either righthanded (split finger) 50-57 @ 28" or Lefthanded (three under) 50-57 @ 29"
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Thanks for taking the time to get this together again.  I know it takes some work on your side and it is appreciated.
