How on Earth to contact Mike Mcguire?

Warrior has not been sent his Osage yet as well.

Obviously this guy is ripping people off.      

Why are we all just pretending like he is still a good guy?

There should be a sticky at the top of this forum warning people he is a rip off!!!

Does anyone know if he is a member here?  If yes what is his user ID please?

Also if anyone lives near this guy or sees him as a vendor can you please ask him why the hell he is taking us tradganger's money?

If i knew this thread existed and I saw the guy out selling Osage I would call him on it right then and there and then call the police!!!!

Got a few questions.....

Is/Was this guy a member of Trad Gang?

Is/Was he a Sponosr on Trad Gang?(I don't recall his name)

Was he 'working the board' here selling goods under the radar and not paying for a Sponsorship?

How did you guy find out he sold staves?

Tradgang Member 6777, and yes, I recieved PM's from him when I inquired about buying osage on tradgang.  And did successfully buy osage.

Its a real shame, I really trusted the guy.

I honestly forget how I found out he sold staves.

I bought 10 staves from him a few years ago without any problems.

Two months ago I emailed him (I found his email in a thread here after losing it) asking to buy 10 more staves.  

We agreed on a price and I sent my money (he told me at the time my staves were "ready to ship").

I emailed him 3 weeks ago asking where my Osage was and he emailed me back saying he already shipped them.

I emailed him again last week.  Then two days ago.  Both times with no response.

Then yesterday I find this thread while doing a search.

Thats pretty much it.

I think Mike's user name is "Yazoo". I have known Mike for a few years now, have bought staves from him and his Dad and actually at the Tenn Classic last year Mike gave me an osage stave. I have never had a bad deal with Mike. He has always been up front and honest with me. I'm sorry to hear these things about him.

I just pray nothing bad has happened to him or his family.  I not quick to judgement on this.  But then again, I don't have $500 riding on it.

But a few times in my life, I was quick to judge, just to find out a tragedy happened, and I felt like a pile of mud.

I also have bought staves from Mike, lots actually, into the thousands of $, no problems what so ever I did not find out about him on TG however.
Not that really makes any difference, I am sorry for you guys that got stung.

I don't even know the guy, but I know how things can happen. People get sick, have deaths in the family, or unseen life changing events just jump up and nail ya when you least expect it. I wouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions until someone can contact the man, then make an educated analysis of the situation.

But like Big Country said, I don't have lots of $$$$ invested with him either. I'm sure I would probably feel the same as you all do if it were my arse that I was in fear of losing.

Good Luck to you all, I hope you get your staves. I really hate to read stuff like this, it kinda gives me a sick feeling in my gut when I do.

Takes $$$, doesn't deliver, stops replying to paid customers contact attempts, recently still selling what others have paid for..($1000+ sounds like).

Call the cops. Get your papers together and call.
Maybe the guy needs pressure from the authorities to do the right thing.

As I mentioned in my earier reply, Mike took my money and didn't deliver. Only got my money back, after many months of e-mails, when I let him know that I would be look him up at one of his sales/events   :mad:         .........Art

I have called the police.

They are sending an officer out there soon.

The officer said he knows Mike McGuire by name,  and promised me they would take care of it.

If anybody else is owed either money or Osage from this fellow please post here or send me a PM.

I edited my post because it was borderline "Bashing" and I don't even know this man. So that's not fair of me to judge someone else that I do not personally know, or have had dealings with.

I simply wanted to voice my disgust in the matter since I also sell Osage staves and to make sure that you all knew where I stand on such issues as this. I would Never accept money for goods that I could not deliver, nor would I accept money for staves that I could not ship out immediately.

I sincerely hope that you all get your money or your products. Maybe this incident will change how business is carried out in the future?
I personally would not put money down on anything that could not be delivered as soon as my money was received by the seller, but that's just me and that's how I do business.
