I have been shooting this Osage bow in and was going to put some skins on it, when I found these in the back I put super glue in them. Will it be OK?

they look bad, but I think you will be fine. You could wrap them and give the bow some color to highlight the skins to be safe. I have a few bows with the same thing and have put thousands of shots through it with out ever doing a thing to it.

I just did 2 recurves and they have MUCH worse splits than those. I filled with super glue and said a prayer. They are holding up great so far. The next time I recurve or bend osage, I'm going to use steam and not my heat gun  :(  . Don

Flow in super glue and back it with epoxy and silk. When cover with skin.  It will work for longer than you will  :)

Should be good as long as they don't run off the edge of the limb.

From the discoloration it looks like you overheated that area and dried it out, causing the checks. Should be fine with the super glue. I think I'd shoot it a bunch first before putting on the skins...just in case!

Boy Pat you got a good eye. I didn't notice the color until you pointed it out.
