What do you guys use when your bow is ready for an all over sanding with fine grit paper?  I need something that will follow all the contours and get down in all the little nocks and crannies.

hand sand with #220 paper, you can go finer when you get the old finish off. I do not use steelwool between coats of finish or on the wood. 500-600 wet sand for a dazzlin finish........James

220 grit works as part of finish sanding. Then I dampen the bow. Let it dry and sand again. I continue until no more grain ius raised at dampening. I follow with 400 and then 600 grit. Jawge

for new bows I'm building...on new glass with the shiney stuff on it I hand sand using 220, sometimes I will follow the 220 with 320 grit, I use a hard rubber sanding block to round the new glass edges, I hand sand the riser too
