Just wondering if anybody has tried them. If so how do you rate as far as quality.

Haven't tried them but have looked at them at Woodcrafters, look good to me.  I would have tried them but they didn't have any that were long enough for a bow limb in stock.  Need to get back and check again.

I was just gonna ask about this they have 12 sq ft pacs on sale for around 15 bucks (some more depending on wood type). they are 48 in long so i dont think it would be to hard to make overlaping splices at the handle (but i am very inexperianced) any opinions on this would be apriceated. I was thinking of geting some to use for backing any way but thought it might work to lamb the whole limb? How many layers? what type of glue would you use?

I dropped about $1,000 in their booth at Compton.  They have some really nice stuff and have even more out at ETAR.  I think you'll be really happy with their stuff.  I've only glued up a couple sets of limbs with them so far, but as far as quality I think you'll be pretty pleased.

Do you guys who use them leave them at the thickness they come or do you thin them out more. The reason I ask is I got some from Compton but haven't used them yet, they are .022 should I leave them or reduce them some??

I would leave them at that thickness, especially the figured wood. You'll just need to rough them up for good glue adhesion.

There is a supplier for veneers in Golden Colorado but I won't mention the name because they are not sponsors. Do a internet search and they are easy to find. They have almost anything you would want and you get to see the actual piece of veneer, with the size and price before you order. Great prices and they are very good people to do business with

If you can't find them PM me and I will send you the link.............James
