Bowyers edge tool

What is the correct way to sharpen a bowyers edge tool.

Use the jig that came with it.

If it didn't come with a jig, you should probably make one.

Thank you No-sage. Someone gave it to me , but came without instructions or jig. will make one asap. Thanks again . this site and the guys on it are great!

I use the jig, but I drag the blade backwards across some fine sandpaper, instead of a stone.
