Hello everyone i have been lurking around this site for a while now and have just about finished my first laminated R/D long bow.  The bow seems to have come out good except when I initionally measured the limbs string to fade I had equal measurements and now that the bow is nearly finished sanded it seems to have about 3/16" stiffer limb on top.  I have sanded the glass on the limb but it dosn't seem to be changing any.  How critical is this measurement and should i continue to sand on that limb Thanks for any help.

I don't think finish sanding would change it that much.

Check your limb width at 6" intervals. You will most likely find the prob.

Or lay it on a pc of paper, trace one limb, and flip the bow to compare limbs.

I like mine about 1/8" positive tiller(stronger bottom)In other words,if the top measures 7 1/8"--the bottom will be 7"
Stay sharp, Kenny.
