I'm having trouble deciding which new bow to order......and no, I can't get them all, LOL.

Bow will be ordered between 50#-55#@28 and  60". The two most important requirements for my new bow are 1. Shootibility ,if I can't shoot it well
it won't be much use to me
       2. Queitness, I shoot recurves and have
noticed that some are a good bit
          noisier than others.
I shoot split finger, instinctive..the bow will be for deer hunting, mostly out of a treestand. I took up trad about 2 years ago and have fell in love with the "stick and string", but just now have got the extra $$$ to order a bow for ME.

1. DAS Dalaa- never shot one but only heard good things

2. Silvertip 3 piece curve- the only one that I've had a chance to shoot was smooth, quiet and quick....

I originally posted my top 4 picks , but have narrowed it down to these two, so I deleted the other two bows from this post.
All opinions will be appreciated.

You may want to add a Swan Carbon Curve to your list. 60" very fast and scary quiet when tuned. It's a one piece. Though any on your list would be a good choice.

thanks,
I'll take a close look at the Swan

I'm biased, but my vote is for the Dalaa. I think there may be some Swan limbs available for it before too long.

I'd really like to lay hands on a Toelke though. They are supposed to be very nice.

Ditto the Dalaa. Having a ball with mine, owned
and shot all or most all you mentioned. It is just nice to have a bow that is tunable to style
and consistent to a fault. Its just as fast as the rest to boot. If you want a heavier or lighter set of limbs, they are available with minor modification for $110-$550+ in a couple of weeks at most. Ive got two new sets coming #35 and #56 so Ill now have and adjustment range of #30 to #60 with one bow. You cant do that with the rest. Just some extra thoughts to throw in.

I have 4-5months to go on a new Silvertip because of this thread...never shot one though.
I love my Border too, best I've personally shot.

OH at work

I will go with Guru and say Silvertip and never look back

It's nearly impossible beat the DAS Dalaa riser except for another DAS riser with regards to a hunting three piece recurve and with regards to available limbs, saying the skies the limit isn't to far from the truth.

Hands down Silvertip !! Has proven itself for a lonnng time!

Marblesonac

You can get the DAS very quickly from 3Rivers, the Silvertip will take a while.

The Silvertip has a soul (in my opinion only) and metal riser bows are more like tools.

If it were me, I'd get the Silvertip.
Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes....

How many of you guys expressing an opinion on this question have shot BOTH bows?  If you haven't, your opinion isn't worth much.

SilverTip

let me think about this... ok Silvertip

the only possible answer is to order a Silvertip, buy a Dalaa and shoot it while you're waiting for the Tip. And then decide which one is for you and sell the other.

And yes I've shot and owned both

I was in the same position as you about 6 months ago,but the choise was Black Swan or DAS Hunter.
I ordered the Hunter, should be here in a couple of weeks,,,,but I'm still going to buy a Black Swan.
Just can't get over how beautifull that bow is.
You have to make your own end decision,so good luck with what ever you buy.
Cheers.
