Roy, I sit in a ladder stand for most of my deer hunting and shoot that way. I have a folding stool with a back that I use for ground hunting for deer and turkeys. I use a lawn chair in my pop-up blind. I rarely take a standing shot while hunting, except for judoing going in and out of the woods. I frequently practice from the sitting position too. I have weak legs, so I'm more stable sitting.
