I have removed some palm swell on my A&H riser and I would like to reseal the riser . A&H uses a Thunderbird finsh. I dont have access to a sprayer to spray the riser , is there any type of spray "can" polyurathane that I can use over the Thunderbird. Thanks Joe
Thanks

You can brush on thunderbird as well.  Jim Godden did an article in TBM.  I have it scanned somewhere if your interested in an e-copy.  Tim

I've been brushing on Thunderbird since Tim sent me the article a while ago.  It's work, but if you have the time and patience you can make it come out nice - I'm usually just a little low on the time and patience part... :)

Spot finishing one time with it will be expensive unless you can talk somebody out of some nearby.

Even the smallest containers they sell will still run you 60.00 plus though.  Research the Massey finish, it is an epoxy finish and will work.  It will cost you about 5 dollars and be just as tough as the TB.  Call me if you need help.  You need to buy Devcon 2 ton epoxy at Walmart and a can of acetone.  Chad

If you use the Massey finish make sure you use a respirator, long sleeves, goggles, and two pairs of rubber gloves. Great finish, but deadly to you.
