I would like to know what you guys think the best core woods are?  Does mulberry make a good core wood?

Actionboo, walnut ,red elm in that order.  Never worked mulberry, but suspect it is fairly heavy! JMHO

Mulberry is not as heavy as one might think.  I would say walnut is heavier.  jmo

I think mulberry is fairly light, physically. It might be an option but I don't build glass bows so I don't know. My Treadway bow has red elm lams and they work very well as core wood...light and strong and with nice grain.    Pat
