Building a R/D bow with front and rear glass, with 3 bamboo cores...

Better to put 2 cores on front or back of riser ??

If it is a one piece bow I would put two on the front for more strength in the handle area.

Does 2 - .05" clear glass lambs, and 2 .055" Bambo, and a .027 bamboo core sound like a 40 LB bow - ??? Im really wanting no more than 40....

The weight of the bow will all depend on how much reflex and deflex you have in your form. You will probably need to make a few and keep a good record of what thickness you laminations are before you can accurately predict what weight your bow will be...Glenn...

Thanks Glenn....

I knew someone was going to say somthin like that  =)

BTW - The bow has quite a bit of both Deflex and Reflex...
