Hi,
Smooth on's web site says this "Materials should be stored and used in a warm environment (72° F / 22° C). This product has a limited shelf life and
should be used as soon as possible." I talked to a gal at Bingham's and she said 1 year. I hope this helps.

I have used Smooth On that was 18 months old and it was OK. Three years might be risky. How did the test sample work? You might try glueing up a test piece with some glass and wood. When it is cured break it and see if the joint seperates or the wood breaks. I see you are from JAX. I used to live there. Have you done any of the Cumberland Island hunts?
