This is going to end up as an accessory on a fancy western shootin' rig. It'll get a sheath to match the rig by the holster maker.
I can't wait to see it as a set.
African Blackwood handle and all take-down.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

That's awesome, as always.  I had the opportunity to do a western belt/holster/knife/sheath rig late last year.  Custom knives and western rigs together just seem to make all things right with the world.  One of these days I'm going to get one of you're TD hunters.

Always like what you show us here Karl. Great looking knife.

Nice work Karl......I could tell your style from way back. No one else makes a hunter quite like you.
Considering your hunters are simple in appearance, that it's also readily identifiable as one of yours, is really saying something.

You'll notice the "luckiest" elk hunters have worn out boots.

Thanks, Darcy.
A hunter   SHOULD   be simple.

Within reason I agree with you Karl.
Their IQ should at be at least the same as their arrow length in inches(base of point to nock throat) or I don't believe a licence should be issued to them.   :smileystooges:
