Hey gang, a couple years back I found a shed elk antler in Northern MI and have decided id like to do something with it other than leave it sit on my shelf. Thinking a knife handle or two or maybe something else?

It's in good shape other than being chewed up from the base to the first tine. I'll try to post pics later

If anyone has ideas on cool trad products to make with it or is willing to make a deal on a knife or two I'd let them keep whatever is left over from it and maybe include a nice whitetail shed for them to use as he or she pleases.

Feel free to reply or PM me. Thanks for looking!

Your options are limited to probably hidden tang blades with that antler unless you make a rather small knife.  It always seems like there is more antler than there is when you try to find a decent matching set of scales in an antler(at least for me that is)  Even with a decent moose palm finding enough flat matched sets is hard because antlers are not very flat.

Best bet is to pick a tine and drill a hole to epoxy a knife blank into like one of the Hella blades available.  Makes a very nice knife.
