Steve that's really fine...the handle is really special, and the sheath is really sweet too. Is that an elkhorn-riser TD?

Beautiful work Steve. That whole package fits together great. I really want to try the silver wire inlay one of these days - it really makes a clean separation of the dark, stippled area and the rest of the handle. Gorgeous piece of maple and the "stippled" sheath ties everything together well.

That stippling is cool.
Next time - take pictures with each step and give us other guys a tutorial!    :)

Thank you all for the positive comments on this knife/sheath package.  I did some Joe Keelsar'esque file work less the engraving on the spine that I should take a pic of.

Ray, that is a an Elk antler riser take down longbow.  Steve Hartley out of Indiana, a nice bow!

Karl, I will do that tutorial!

Absolutetly fantastic!  That is a classy looking knife, from the profile to the filework to the flow/design/execution of the handle.  Very eye-catching!  :)
