Big Curly Maple & W2 Camp Chopper

Curly Maple & W2 Camp Chopper.  10-1/4"l x 2"w blade,  15-1/2" overall.  Forged from W2 round bar, differentially heat treated using clay with active hamon.  Got to put a few more coats of finish on the Curly Maple over the next few days.

thanks fellas,  I really love maple, just cut up a fresh batch yesturday... loookin fwd. to seeing how it looks after finished etc.  Gonna put some on my 'truck" Bowie.

Very nice work and I'll wager that blade is thin enough you could do a lot of cutting without beating yourself up.
