Another beauty, Lin.  That one begs to be called, "The Boss".

Lin, my favorite name so far is the one you first used: Grizz. I think I have seen a knife before named Brown Bear, and I usually prefer one word names better anyway unless the first word is The ________. That big knife looks better every time I see a new picture of it.

Sweet knife you do great work how long have you been blacksmithing.

That is really a knife Lin, very fitting it should be one you carry.

Grizz grows on me also, that blade has all the things that make the great bear what he is.

My secong choice would be Longwalker. That blade would be a good companion for the long haul.

Thank you all for your help naming this knife. The picture of the Big Brown Bear (Tim McKinley's) kind of clinched it even though I'm naming it something a little different. I keep thinking "bear claw". I hope that is agreeable with everyone. It blends a lot of the names you gave me and I really thank you all. I just got this snap shot of the sheath. Rawhide covered.

Bear claw sounds great.  Kindof rolls off the tongue.
