A few years back I kindsorta inherited these after my Grandfather passed away. He owned them and I recall he worked on them or made the handle/grips?

If anyone knows anything about these please reply, just curious. Thanks.

No matter how you slice it...it tastes that much better when it was earned the hard way.

The bottom looks like an Old Hickory brand knife. Not sure of the top one.

How about a close up of the maker's mark on the top knife. Any other marks? It looks like a Sheffield made knife but cant say with out more details. Is the handle stag?

Yes...the handle/scales are natural antler. The stamped mark/marker? Is "Lyon" with a cirlcle or circled.
The AOL is 10.75" the blade is 6.25".

Thanks.

I cant find any information on that maker. I did find a book that would probably verify if it is a Sheffield maker. I'd like to have the book but I'm not ready to spend the money on it yet. I think it's a Sheffield maker though. The link to the book is below.
