Built these for tatersalad and his son as momentos of their sucessful Black bear hunt together. They are made from the femur bone of the bear tatersalad killed with his recurve. His son took a B&C as well with a rifle.
It's a been a great privilege to make these. Ben Tendick made the blades, I hafted them and made the sheaths. I did the turquiose fill on the claws as well.
