Hi guys, here are 4 hunters that I completed over the last couple of months.  Sheaths to come next month.  All are built on blanks that I purchased from the U.S. and modified to suit my personal preference.

1st is a 440C hunter that I modified the finger area of the handle on. Arizona ironwood scales with 3/16" mosaic pins. OAL is 8 1/4" and 3 3/4" blade.

2nd is another hunter / skinner with a 440C blade that I did a similar mod to at the finger area.  It has stabilized maple burl scales with 1/4" corby rivet pins. OAL is 7 1/2" with a 3 1/8" blade.

3rd is a damascus hunter that required very little in the way of mods. It has stabilized curly figured maple scales with 5/32" mosaic pins. OAL is 7 3/4" with a 3 3/4" blade.

4th is a damascus small skinner / hunter that I modified the tang quite radically on. Took a substantial amount off the back of the spine area and redrilled the pin holes.  Scales are natural Australian Morrel with 5/32" nickel silver Corby rivet pins. OAL is 6 1/4" with a 2 1/2" blade.

The natural scales have been finished with 2 or 3 coats of Tung Oil with a Carnuba wax buff and polish.  The stabilized scales were just polished with the wax.

I welcome your critic and suggestions for improvements.
cheers, Dale

thanks guys, appreciate the comments.  I have decided to keep the 1st and 4th for myself, for the time being anyway, and the 3rd goes to my son.  The 2nd one I will be donating to a Provincial Hunter Education fundraiser.
cheers, Dale
