Here's one I just finished. Inspired by the Green River buffalo skinners of the 1800's. Made from an old sawmill blade. OAL 11" with a 6" blade. Stacked leather,Micarta and aluminum spacers.I moved last year and am just now getting my shop up and running. I hope to be hanging out here a bit enjoying the great work that you guys are doing and maybe show off a few of mine. Thanks for looking,Dan

Nice knife Dan but you gotta resize your picture to no wider than 640mp wide... Thanks

Sorry, I'll see if I can figure it out

I like the style, but honestly, I dont like things sticking out and in the way. Not saying yours is. I have seen some though. I really want to try one myself. I'm guessing that there is more to stacking those leather washers than just what meets the eye. The blade on Scagels are very organic, for lack of a better word. They're attractive for sure.

Lin,   looking at that tine sticking out of the  the handle you would think that it would get in your way but it doesn't at all. It feels very good in the hand no matter how you grab it .Ive built several of these, my hunting buddys calls them "nose scratchers" because you can scratch your nose with bloody hands while doing skinning duties. Stacked handles are interesting because the possibilities are endless, you should try one
